Dr. Linda Robson, DDS

"It may be hard to believe, but I have wanted to be a dentist since I was a teenager. This early goal inspired an academic path to Lehigh University and then to Northwestern University’s School of Dentistry. After graduating, my husband James, who is also a dentist, took me on a three year “honeymoon” in Guam, compliments of the U.S. Navy.

The opportunity to practice in Guam helped shape how I feel patients should be treated. It is important to me that my patients are treated with respect as individuals, not just a number. My philosophy is to advise people about the best course of action, but feedback from the patient is essential in determining their path to a healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

Continuing education is a priority for me in order to stay current on all aspects of dentistry. I have placed a strong emphasis on full-mouth reconstruction and implants as well as preventative dentistry. Participating in a study club and sharing cases with other local general dentists and specialists expands my knowledge and benefits my patients.

The partnership that I’ve shared with Dr. Sally Vail since 1998 has offered us both the comfort of knowing our patients are well cared for when one of us is unavailable, and sometimes our patients get the benefit of a second opinion, in-house.

Because giving back to the community is important to me, I also volunteer with my church and Salem’s school system. While I’m out of the office,  my family enjoys skiing, biking and visiting with extended family."
